In 2016, we decided that it would be fantastic to engage all the young people, from the youth, to the students, in an away day. So Rooted became a reality!

The aim of the away day was to further equip and encourage the young people in Christian life.

We brought in guest speakers, played games and had a great time spending the day with each other. We really enjoyed this new tradition, and have since carried it on each year.

At Rooted, we take the chance to look deeper into the Bible, taking the time to focus on topics chosen by our young adults.

We celebrate with a time of worship and prayer, something that is always enjoyed by the group. There’s always the chance to play some silly games and have a laugh; one such game involved the use of tights filled with flour!
